I’m Olivia, a photographer based in Eastern NC with over 12 years of experience in portrait and event photography.
My passion for photography began at 9 years old, taking photos around the house with a point-and-shoot camera. That love grew when my dad gifted me my first DSLR, and I started focusing on capturing people. Over time, I fell in love with documenting not only their stories but the unique connections that unfold in front of the camera. When I started photographing weddings, I discovered the joy of witnessing love stories in real-time—each one beautifully different.
As a natural light photographer, I keep my approach minimal, avoiding flash or additional lighting unless absolutely necessary. My style is about blending in, being unobtrusive, and allowing moments to unfold naturally. I believe simplicity brings out the most authentic emotions, whether it’s the warmth of golden hour or a soft, overcast sky. For me, it’s all about capturing the realness—laughter, love, and the quiet moments in between.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me collaborating with my husband, who helps second shoot weddings when he’s available. Photography is something we both love to do together on weekends, especially as we raise our almost two-year-old son.
